A SEAL Wolf Christmas Terry Spear Books

Terry Spears, werewolf romance novel: alpha male wolf seeking mate.. sees female ( she wolf or not).. fast, hard attraction.. mated with a happy ending. So goes most all, but Terry Spear knows just how to twist, turn and manipulate the plot to pull in the reader and not let go!! Another fine novel written and read . It is hard to imagine the many way Spear finds to make each story .. so predictable... also so engrossing and interesting that it is hard to put down. Easy reading, likable characters, links back to other stories in realistic plots makes this series one of the best I have read! Puts " Twilight " to shame. Must read books on my list!

A SEAL Wolf Christmas Terry Spear Books Reviews

This wasn't super well-written and a lot of the writing was pretty repetitive, but it was entertaining. The way that the mysteries connected tied things together nicely, and although most of the plot twists were pretty predictable there was some good suspense. My one main issue with the book was that Anna could clearly take care of herself yet she was often treated like she couldn't.
I really like the mystery and adventure of these books, there were plenty of fun twists and turns. Although some of the events were predictable they were still enjoyable to read. However, the "romance" and wolf lore of the series is full of holes and this book is the worst. Ana and Bjornolf are great characters but I am not a fan of them being together. I wish they had each found someone else and got their own books. Ana and Bjorn first met in book 9 when he was full on, hard core lusting after Meara. His goal was to mate with her. He showed zero interest in Ana. So now a few months later he goes on a mission with the team and figures Ana ain't half bad. And Ana never called him out on it. This story wasn't romantic to me, it was more of a well we're both single and love guns so we might as well mate. When they declared their love for each other I rolled my eyes. Really? When you initially met each other you were completely indifferent, now one mission (and they had no alone time) and few days later your ready to spend the rest of your long lives together and are in love? Please.

Throughout all twelve books the running theme has been since wolves mate for life after they have sex, humans are used to satisfy sexual urges in the meantime in-between time. So why was so much of the book spent telling Nathan to leave Jessica the human alone? Isn't that what humans have been for all along? They said in this book that the aging process slows down after puberty. So even if the aging process changes after puberty ends, which around 18, this kid has another 90 years before he hits age 20. 90 years as a teenage boy, with no sexual outlet of any kind? No wonder most of the male wolves are nuts.

And finally what annoys me to no end about these books, the mating. In order to mate with a wolf for the rest of their incredibly long lives all they do is have sex. There is no mystical force driving them together. There is no bite mark made to identify someone as mated. There is no scent change. There is no public ceremony. There is no ring, or necklace, or tattoo exchange. Two people have sex and that's it. Your stuck, until someone dies. Book 11 covered spousal abuse and forced marriage, yet the heroine Elaine was still mated with no recourse in wolf society. And not once in the book was there an outcry of injustice for female wolves. This book briefly addresses rape, again there was no moment when someone said "Hey, maybe we should change these mating rules." Female wolves are few and far between, so you'd think their health and happiness would be a cultural priority. But not so much. Also what happens if one wolf lies or denies. What if two wolves hook up and one changes their mind right after the sex. Wolf #1 goes off to tell their buddy's they're mated, but Wolf #2 just looks around and says I don't know what they're talking about. What then? Or what if Wolf #3 lies and says they mated Wolf #4 but they never had sex. What then?
Terry Spear has done it again with this book. The heroine is kick-ass and the hero is to die for. She also brings back characters from past stories so you can visit with them and see where their life has headed. I love the pack mentality of family and loyalty. I love this book and would gladly recommend it. All of Terry Spear's books are good solid reads and I never worry when I pick up a new one. If you like action and adventure with a werewolf or two, you will love this book.
I loved this story. Burning and Anna were fantastic. They are both SEALs. The chemistry was great and their passion was all consuming. Terry Spear just knows how to weave great stories. I loved how the author brought so many of her previous characters into this. It informed those of us who have read her previous books some of the outcomes of those other characters.

You will love this story. I wholeheartedly recommended this.
I especially enjoyed this book, and her dedication was really close to my heart. Terry Spear writes a exciting non-stop action packed, nail biter, with teeth and lots of growling, and Mistletoe, Tree farm and Christmas magic, and a dash of young love , sexy romance with attitude, and enough steam to cloud up my glasses. And being that I've read all the books in this series. I was so happy to finally read about the mysterious , and oh so wolfy Navy Seal Bjornolf Jorgenson and the feisty Anna Johnson's story. This book is as good as it gets!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!
This was the most disappointing story in the Heart of a Wolf series. Two of the most interesting characters got the worst storyline and their swags weren't in the forefront. They should have stayed in the rainforest; their story should have been a dangerous mission where their tactile talents were exercised and challenged as they relied on each other to survive. They could have played house in an exotic setting. The plot went downhill when their plane landed in Oregon for the second mission. Other plot ideas (1) some group wanting to seek revenge against the "Ghost" could have been the villains and captured him causing him to need Anna (without Hunter's team) to save him, (2) Anna could have been on another mission without Hunter's team and she got caught up in something she couldn't get herself out of; but, Ghost becomes aware of her need for rescue and he's on it or (3) the Wentworths suspects that Hunter and Anna are werewolves and capture them to study them because they want to manufacture drugs that harness their bodies regeneration abilities. The point is there are a lot of other plot choices Spears could have made rather than what was selected for this book. Really all the women in the world and Wentworth had to have let me mess up your Xmas tree Dottie. Again the sex scenes written by Spears don't sizzle. You have wolves; yet, the sex is so vanilla, unimaginative with little stamina. I don't recommend this book in the series.
